The successful candidate must have 6+ years IT engineering experience with Microsoft Windows active directory 2003-2008, Microsoft Exchange 2003-2007 and 3+ years with server virtualization platforms.  This person will report to the company’s operations manager.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Architect, implement and maintain multi-site IT infrastructure
• Budgeting: Manage IT budget with estimates for break-fix/maintenance support, contractors, projects etc.
• Reporting: Create IT reports for management team on status of projects, and maintenance and budgets.
• Policies: Create and maintain IT security policies.
• Assets: Manage assets, track network, software, hardware. Not limited to workstations, servers, firewalls, routers, warranties, software licenses, subscriptions, domain name registration, SSL certificates, antivirus, etc.
• Disaster Recovery: Manage backup and disaster recovery procedures
• Phones: Familiarity with IP phone systems
• Project Management: Project management and budgeting to ensure successful implementation and defining of project budget.
• Security Auditing: Auditing and verification of group policies, network security .
• Documentation: Documentation of network diagrams, change management, applications
• Vendors: Manage vendors contacts in database for telephone, cell phone, copier, fax, printer, internet, and 3rd party applications support, etc

Requirements:

• MCSE 2003 or MCTIP
• Minimum 6 years engineering experience with Microsoft Windows 2003-2008 Active Directory
• Minimum 6 years Microsoft Exchange 2003-2007
• Minimum 3 years VMware or comparable virtualization OS
• Experience managing $100K+ budget
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while satisfying customer needs and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to work under pressure and achieve required deadlines.
• Ability to proactively identify issues and offer solutions
